Additional "Doctor Who" reference in "Leverage"

Last sunday's episode of Leverage, The Radio Job, nearly gave me a heart attack. Not to mention a much loved fangirlish Doctor Who reference. Ah, John Rogers... "Let's go steal a time machine!"

Note--1962 is the year just before the original Doctor Who series premiered. And yes, that is the original theme song playing in the background.

OH MY GOODNESS I JUST FINISHED THE BOOK!!! I really enjoyed it :) My favorite line was right at the end:

"What if a courtier should come by and see you drinking with me?"
"What if a faery should come by and see me drinking with you? Who would be more shocked?"

That ending scene was full of so much win. Tell what you think of The Squire, His Knight, and His Lady when you get to it. Terence only gets more snarky with age. :) What I love about him is that he's such a it's-what-I-do, humble hero. He's not a chosen one, he's not a great warrior, but he's still just so full of awesome.

And since you've come around to this post... ;) Have you ever seen Leverage? It's a wonderful Robin Hood-esque heist drama with an awesome thief character who's afraid of horses! Hope you check it out!

So I know this is an old post. But Watching Leverage reruns after becoming a Whovian = Awesome! And thank you for the repeat of Hardison quoting the Doctor!!! It caused a fan-girl giggling fit. I don't giggle lol. Loved Leverage! Love Doctor Who!
